Fee Waiver for Previous Year Champions

Pairings that have won a South Central Regional Championship in oral advocacy will receive a fee waiver to defend their titles in the following year:

  • The waiver applies only in the following year.

  • In the event one member of a championship pairing graduates, the remaining member and his/her new partner may receive the fee waiver.

  • In the event both members of a championship pairing graduate, the coach of their team may designate another pairing to receive the fee waiver and represent their university as "defending champions."
